Invasive Species Removal and Trail Maintenance at Fernbank Forest

Are you looking to get off campus? Have you been dying for a reason to get your hands dirty and help the environment? Well if that sounds like you, then join us for a service event this Saturday, September 11th from 8:30am-12:30pm!

We'll be helping the naturalist over at the Fernbank Forest with removing invasive plant species and maintaining their trails and would love to have you join us!

Plan to meet at the CULC turnaround by Tech Green at 8:30am and leave by no later than 8:40am. We'll be back around approximately 12:30pm.

Plan to wear good work shoes/hiking boots and clothes you don't mind getting dirty (bonus points for long-sleeved pants and shirts to ward off any poison ivy!). Bring a water bottle, sunscreen, some bug spray, and then a pair work gloves if you have them.

COVID Policy - We ask that you bring a mask with you for the ride over as well as in case it is required by our host.
