The End of World War II and the Start of the Cold War, Asia-Pacific

A Three Day Virtual Event

World War II, the deadliest conflict in human history, left unimaginable destruction in its wake. Asia-Pacific countries needed to rebuild shattered lives and economies - while contending with growing Chinese might. In this three day symposium, experts will explore the war in the Pacific, the complicated rebuild process, US influence in the region, the Korean War and the rise of China as the world plunged into the Cold War.
