The newly inaugurated U.S. President Joe Biden is expected to reinvent the transatlantic relationship early in his presidency, markedly shifting the relationship established by the previous administration. What will an invigorated alliance look like? What are the specific challenges and opportunities that Russia poses to this alliance? How can the United States navigate these shoals in a manner that can reinvigorate U.S.-EU partnership?

Featuring
Ambassador James F. Collins
Nonresident Senior Fellow, Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and former U.S. Ambassador to the Russian Federation

Honorable Federica Mogherini
Rector of the College of Europe,
Former High representative of the European Union for Foreign & Security Policy, and Vice President of the European Commission

Moderator
Dr. Alasdair Young
Professor and Neal Family Chair, Sam Nunn School of International Affairs;
Co-Director, Center for European and Transatlantic Studies/EU Jean Monnet Center of Excellence

The event is sponsored by the GT Center for International Strategy, Technology, and Policy, GT Center for European and Transatlantic Studies, Jean Monnet in the USA, and Eramus+ Programme of the European Union.
