White Fragility: When a Spoon Full of Sugar Isn’t Quite Enough

Join Pearl Alexander and Cheryl Cofield for a community conversation exploring White Fragility: Why It’s So Hard for White People to Talk About Racism, by Dr. Robin DiAngelo. Participants will explore factors that lie at the root of discomfort when discussing race; examine language that is designed to mitigate racial stress;  dissect the false binaries of good vs. bad relating to racism; and learn strategies to transcend silence, complicity and inaction.
