Fast Film Fest: Workshop

Thursday, January 23  Collaborative Animation Drop-In


From the early days of Disney to today’s graphics by Pixar, animators have worked together to produce engaging final products. During this drop-in workshop, participants will contribute to a jointly produced animated piece, and have the opportunity to explore techniques and tricks to include in their own masterpieces!

The Fast Film Fest is a celebration of paper through animation. All participants are invited to create stop-motion animations using paper as the primary medium. (i.e. cutout animation, origami stop motion, etc)

Animations can be 5 minutes or shorter in length. All entries are to be created after the theme announcement.

Theme will be announced on Wednesday, January 15, 2020

Submissions are due Friday, February 21, 2020. Submissions will be reviewed by a panel of jedges for an award ceremony and screening held Friday, March 6, 2020 in the Renewable Bioproducts Institute at Georgia Tech.

All submissions will be available for viewing via the Paper Animation Film Fest YouTube channel.

No prior experience is necessary to participate.
