Wellness Coaching (Fridays)
New for Fall 2018, Health Initiatives is offering group wellness coaching for all students.

Group wellness coaching is where students can come to optimize their personal goals through shared motivation. Coaches facilitate and support the conversation, but it will be guided by the specific goals and strengths of the participants. The general philosophy of health and wellness coaching is that YOU are the expert in your own life, and are creative, resourceful and capable of positive change. These groups will be centered on the topic of wellness which can encompass many more specific goals. For example, possible areas to explore in coaching include but are not limited to:

  • Fitness
  • Sleep
  • Stress
  • Time management
  • Organization
  • Healthy eating/weight management
  • Relationships
  • Future plans/aspirations

Wellness Coaching is a service to students - not a typical "program". It does not have set educational components or a strict outline to follow. During sessions, students work together to set meaningful, specific goals by acknowledging and applying their individual strengths.
