New Robotics Student Welcome and Orientation

On August 17th, the Institute for Robotics and Intelligent Machines (IRIM) and RoboGrads will host a New Robotics Student Welcome and Orientation, which includes both valuable information and social events.

At 11 a.m., Gary McMurray, Interim Executive Director of IRIM, and Nader Sadegh, Director of the Robotics Ph.D. Program will provide an introduction to all things robotics at Georiga Tech.

From 1:30 to 4 p.m., RoboGrads will host a board/card game where you can meet other new students and existing robotics students and faculty.

In previous years, RoboGrads typically hosts a picnic during the middle of summer. This year, it is now part of our welcome event for new students! At 4 p.m., we will walk in a group to Piedmont Park to enjoy a great picnic, complete with free freshly grilled food, all the fixings, and sides, as well as outdoor events.
